UCH commissions Computer Based Test (CBT) Centre

The Computer Based Test (CBT) Centre donated by the Chairman of BOVAS Foundation, Engr. Samson Bamidele to the University College Hospital (UCH), Ibadan was today, Tuesday, 12th December, 2023 commissioned at the South Campus of the Hospital. The Centre is named Arc. Bamidele Samson Olusegun Computer Based Centre and has 280 state-of-the-art computers, staff offices and conference/seminar rooms.

The Chief Medical Director, Prof. Jesse Abiodun Otegbayo, under whose leadership the project was actualised, in his welcome address acknowledged and appreciated the efforts of the benefactor, Engineer Bamidele Samson and his wife, Dr. (Mrs.) Victoria Samson, who have worked tirelessly to make the legacy project a reality, saying, their dedication has paved the way for an educational environment that embraces the opportunities the digital age presents.

 

In his address, the Benefactor, Arc. Bamidele Olusegun Samson, thanked the Foundation for its support and contribution towards making the day a reality saying the donation of the Computer Based Test Centre is a humble donation to show gratitude to God.

Commissioning the project, the Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Oluseyi Makinde,  said he was excited to be associated with the benefactor Arc. Bamidele Ousegun Samson and his wife, Dr. Mrs. Victoria Samson saying, their hard work has contributed to the development of Oyo State. “I will continue to give my support to the Bovas Foundation and also be part of all projects the Foundation will be commissioning in the near future” the governor pointed out.
