DR.(MRS.) A.FOWOTADE

Dr (Mrs.) Adeola Fowotade (MBBS, MSc Med Virology, MWACP, FMCPATH) graduated from the University of Ilorin in 2003.She is a Fellow of the National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria, holds a Master’s degree in Medical Virology and is currently in the final year of a doctorate degree programme in Molecular Virology and Immunology at the University of Surrey, UK. She is currently a Clinical Virologist at the University College, Hospital, Ibadan, Nigeria and a lecturer at the College of Medicine, University of Ibadan, Nigeria.

She has delivered many guest lectures, numerous communications at scientific conferences, abstracts and poster presentations and has published a substantial number of articles in peer-reviewed journals on infectious diseases. Adeola has on a number of occasions presented her research output at Conferences and Workshops in Nigeria and abroad, including England, Germany and the USA.

Adeola has received many awards including the UK 2014 Primer Design Gold studentship and is an alumnus of the Global Virus Network (GVN) domiciled in Baltimore, USA. Adeola holds memberships of many learned societies, including Nigerian Medical Association (NMA), Medical and Dental Consultants Association of Nigeria, Society of General Microbiology and the American society of Virologists.
