The Ooni of Ife, Ile Ife, Osun State, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Adeyeye Babatunde Enitan Ogunwusi Ojaja II while addressing a cross-section of guests at the UCH resident doctors distinguished personality maiden lecture edition on Wednesday, reaffirmed his support for the hospital.

“I am available and ready to assist the hospital to grow.” The Ooni added.

He stressed that the hospital workers must continue to work towards productivity especially in cases of emergency.

The Arole Oduduwa also advised that in making Nigeria a better nation, citizens should look away from complaining about the leaders but also focus on what contributions they can make for the better future of Nigeria.

The Chief Medical Director of the University College Hospital, Ibadan, Prof. Jesse Abiodun Otegbayo thanked the monarch for his unending assistance to the hospital.

Recalling with glee, Otegbayo who spoke through his Chairman (MAC), Dr. Abiodun Adeoye said “Kabiyesi made a tremendous donation to the hospital for the construction of the Wuraola Ogunwusi Cancer Chemotherapy Centre in memory of his late mum while he equally donated a modular motorized fumigator to assist the hospital in the fight against COVID-19”

“We are grateful for the unending assistance to the hospital and we pray that long live kabiyesi” He added.
