Mrs. M.A. Akintayo was born on the 26th June, 1965. She attended St. Anne’s School, Ibadan from 1977 to 1983 after which she proceeded to the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife from 1984 to 1989 where she bagged a Bachelor degree in Medical Rehabilitation. As a result of her quest for knowledge, she proceeded for Masters Degree programme in Physiotherapy at the University of Ibadan and was awarded the certificate in 201. She is a member of the Nigeria Society of Physiotherapy.
Mrs. Akintayo was appointed As Physiotherapist in the Department of Physiotherapy with effect from 2nd January 1991. She rose through the ranks to the position of Deputy Director (Physiotherapy) with effect from 1st August, 2018.
She assumed headship of Physiotherapy Department on 25th June 2013 in line with the decision of the Board of Management of the Hospital on rotational headship exposure in her professional career
