Department of Radiology poised for greater efficiency as Uninterrupted Power Supply Station gets upgraded.

Services at the Radiology Department of the Hospital will henceforth be enhanced as the
Uninterrupted Power Supply (UPS) Station has been installed and commissioned on Tuesday, September 1st 2020.
The Chief Medical Director (CMD) of the Hospital, Professor Jesse Abiodun Otegbayo who commissioned the Uninterrupted Power Supply Station pointed out that the Hospital needed to ensure that radiological services are improved upon, hence, the investment on batteries which will provide a seamless power supply whenever power from the Hospital grid goes off.
The CMD charged the Radiology Department to justify the investment and assured that more equipment will be provided to areas that will enhance services in the Hospital.
The Head of Department of Radiology, Prof. Omolola Atalabi appreciated the enormous investment by the Hospital’s management saying that “the UPS station was set up to help improve the services provided by the department for the benefit of the Hospital’s teeming patient population.”
“All our Radiology equipment are connected to the UPS and with this, there would be a seamless power supply that comes up immediately the main gird goes off.”
She, therefore, assured the management that the equipment will be put to use to maximize services to Nigerians.
