CORONAVIRUS: lukman Olayiwola and friends assist UCH with items worth millions of Naira.

Following an appeal by the Hospital on 26 March 2020, for voluntary donations from
Well-meaning Nigerians and
groups, to support the premier Health institution in its response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Engineer Lukman Olayiwola and committee of friends have come together to support the Hospital with items worth millions of Naira.
Presenting the items today, Olayiwola commended the steps the Hospital has been taking to curb the spread of the COVID-19 Virus adding that the donation is a humble contribution to the Hospital’s fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.
Olayiwola urged well to do individuals, groups and corporate organisations in the state, to respond to the appeal by the UCH and to join in the fight against the deadly disease, as concerted efforts will yield positive results, “in addition, we are also planning to provide some personal protective equipment before the end of the week,” he said.
The donated items include four single jar suction machines; four double jar suction machines, hundred bacteria and viral filters; one oxygen concentrator; eight pulse oximeters; hundred hand sanitisers 250ml; two hundred pieces of N95 facemask; five hundred pieces of surgical facemask; twenty packs of hand gloves; four neublisers; soap and germicides.
The Chairman (MAC), Dr. Victor Akinmoladun was on ground to receive the items. Describing the gesture as profound, Akinmoladun thanked the donors, affirming that the Hospital management is thrilled to have such support “this will equip us to continue our fight against the COVID-19 Virus,” he stated.
