In commemoration of her 40th birthday celebration and her late father’s 22 year passing away remembrance, Mrs. Omotara Adeniyi (nee Akingbhein), daughter of late Mr. Neville Akinfela Akingbhein, recently donated an Oxygen Concentrator and Linens to the hospital.

Before he passed away, late Mr. Neville Akinfela Akingbhein was a consultant paediatric surgeon at the department of surgery UCH.

While donating the items, Mrs. Omotara Adeniyi described her father as someone who was very passionate about his work while serving the hospital, the celebrant also reflected on her childhood memories around the hospital environment. She was accompanied by Mrs. Adebola Akingbhein, her mother and wife to late Mr. Neville Akingbhein and her sister, Dr. (Mrs). Muwa Falase (nee Akingbhein).

The donated items were received by the hospital’s Chief Medical Director, Prof. Jesse Otegbayo who thanked the Akingbhein family and hoped that many Nigerians will think along the same line too, “God is indeed helping us through people like you” he said. The CMD also promised that the items will be put to best of use and for the benefit of mankind
