A “Holistic” multidisciplinary team led by Prof. Adefolarin Malomo, a Consultant Neurosurgeon today donated some medical consumables to all spinal cord injured patients currently on admission in the North West One Ward (NW1)of the hospital.

The multidisciplinary team comprising of several volunteer healthcare professionals and clerics who have come together to address patient’s social needs currently operate in the neurological surgery spine unit of the hospital.

Malomo who encouraged other clinical units in the hospital to adopt the concept of patient care as a means of taking care of patients social reality, also called on the hospital management to support the team with a rehabilitation centre that would serve as a hub for restoring illnesses that can not be cured medically.
